The Mmino Wa Clap N Tap Awards NPC proudly announces the 10th Annual National Mmino Wa Clap N Tap Awards, a momentous celebration of a decade dedicated to recognizing, honouring, and celebrating the finest in Clap N Tap music. For the first time, this prestigious event will take place in Cape Town, Home Coming, Star Theatre, marking a significant milestone in the history of Clap N Tap music.
On Saturday, 13 September 2025 We will shine a spotlight on the exceptional talent, outstanding albums, and key stakeholders who have shaped the industry. The event will also feature the esteemed 2025 Tiny Maria Mine Merit Award and the Steven Mathosa Lifetime Award, honouring legends and contributors who have paved the way for the Clap N Tap movement.
This year’s program is packed with exciting developments:
• Summit and Expo: A platform to bridge a gap, build bridge and engage stakeholders, showcase services and products, and strategize on poverty alleviation.
• Elections: A groundbreaking opportunity for stakeholders, including legends, artists, and team to guard their interests after being granted 30% stake, to elect the annual Summit and Expo President. Candidates will present their plans for poverty reduction, emphasizing how Clap N Tap music can uplift communities.
• Build-Up Activations: Exciting activities such as health and wellness, empowerment and mentoring sessions, fun walks, soccer matches between legends and current music directors, Clap N Tap on desks (future DJs in particular Clap N Tap) and trophy boys & girls, submission dates for auditions clips and category nominations shall be share in all our platforms and media houses.
